Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Cote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, LJ Worthon!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cote drops Worthon with a right and a left! Cote comes rushing in but Worthon regains his composure and manages to keep Cote in guard.


It looks like LJ Worthon has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Worthon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cote gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Worthon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cote pinned against the cage. Cote gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Worthon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cote tries to avoid it but Worthon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cote to the ground. Cote escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
LJ Worthon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cote throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Worthon crashing down! Worthon tries to stagger back to his feet but Cote just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Worthon asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
