Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Fragoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Fragoso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fragoso darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Conrad tries to kick Fragoso off but Fragoso keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Fragoso decides to stand and escape the position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Conrad is trying to drag Fragoso to the mat but Fragoso just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fragoso has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fragoso throws a punch but it's blocked by Conrad.
Conrad drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fragoso gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Conrad throws an elbow that misses. Fragoso uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Conrad's guard. Nice move by Fragoso!

Fragoso might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Conrad pushes Fragoso off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Fragoso counters with a nice double leg into side control. Conrad won't be happy with that.
Andy Fragoso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Conrad.

Fragoso wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Conrad, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Conrad takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Conrad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fragoso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fragoso fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Conrad, pushing him back against the cage.
Fragoso tries to score a body lock takedown but Conrad shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Conrad turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Conrad manages to end up in side control.

Fragoso is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Conrad pulls his head out easily.

Conrad throws a strike but Fragoso rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Conrad tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Fragoso has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Conrad is in a horrible position here. Fragoso smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Conrad dives in and grabs Fragoso's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fragoso pushes down on Conrad's head and hops out.
Fragoso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Conrad's waist but Conrad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fragoso off to one side.
Andy Fragoso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Fragoso fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Conrad to the ground. Fragoso is now in Conrad's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fragoso is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Conrad is aware though and is defending well.

Fragoso working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conrad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conrad manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
