Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fon Jitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micah Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Climbing Up The Walls -Radiohead. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva stuffs the takedown.

Silva cracks Jitch with a big right hand but Jitch just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jitch is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Silva has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jitch keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jitch's guard.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jitch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Jitch in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fon Jitch.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
