Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chang Sun Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Couture might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to theres no easy way out . Son has chosen Deftones- Be quiet and drive as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chang Sun Son enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Son both land. Nice combination.
Couture looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Son is fending him off so far but Couture persists. Nope, Son circles away and we're back to standing.
Son swings away with a body shot that misses
and Couture counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Son!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Son's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Son suckers Couture into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Son is now in Couture's guard!
Couture looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Son passes into side control.
Son tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Couture tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Son easily slips into full mount!
Couture is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Couture is working hard here to advance position.

Son throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Son trying to control but Couture is having none of it.

Couture throwing hammer fists to the chest of Son. What's that going to do exactly?
Son unloads with some shots from mount but Couture bucks and avoids them well.

Son working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Couture slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Son takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Son's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Son is trying to control. Couture wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Chang Sun Son has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Couture shoots in for a double leg but Son sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Couture takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Son throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Son rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Couture moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Couture avoids a punch combination nicely.
Couture ducks under a wild hook from Son.
Son lands a nice looking body shot.

Nice uppercut there from Son.
Son pounces like a tiger and cracks Couture with a vicious hook! Couture is down but not out! Son follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
