Rose comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff. Leroy Rose could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Great Pete's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rose has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rose tries to circle away but Pete has him pinned against the cage.
Pete can't break the clinch.
Rose keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pete's efforts to push away.
Pete working aggressively here.
Pete is trying to drag Rose to the mat but Rose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pete drags the fight down to the ground.

Pete working for a triangle but Rose defends it easily.
Rose wants to control from the top but Pete keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pete trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pete controls Rose momentarily but Rose frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rose connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pete momentarily.
Pete takes one to the chin there.
Rose scores with a one two! Pete had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pete is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Rose just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Pete has gone limp and this one is over!

A very excited looking Leroy Rose rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
