Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Said Lambreta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lambreta shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Lambreta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lambreta slips a jab and a cross from Thomas.
Thomas throws a right hand that Lambreta ducks under and follows up with a left that Lambreta also avoids with ease.
Lambreta looking to score a takedown here. Thomas is defending well but Lambreta drives through and ends up in Thomas's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lambreta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Thomas is proving hard to escape from.
