Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica Whisky in the jar . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Nelson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Nelson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nelson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Overeem!

Nelson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Overeem to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Overeem shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nelson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Overeem turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nelson off and cradles Overeem's limp body as Nelson celebrates with his corner.
