Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seanchai The Thai Zombie !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edwin Salvadore!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Thai Zombie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Thai Zombie avoids the head kick by Salvadore.
Salvadore tries a head kick but it misses.
Salvadore keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Edwin Salvadore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salvadore fails with an attempt to clinch.
Salvadore misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salvadore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Salvadore throws a right hand that The Thai Zombie ducks under and follows up with a left that The Thai Zombie also avoids with ease.
Salvadore lands a nice shot to the body.
Salvadore misses with a head kick.
Salvadore throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and The Thai Zombie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Salvadore strikes from the bottom but The Thai Zombie uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Salvadore tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

The Thai Zombie prevents Salvadore from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvadore is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Salvadore tries to hold on but The Thai Zombie postures up.
Salvadore keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Salvadore wants to hold on but The Thai Zombie pushes him away.

Salvadore might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Thai Zombie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The Thai Zombie has hold of Salvadore's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Salvadore manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Salvadore tries to lock up and control but The Thai Zombie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
You get the feeling that Salvadore really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Thai Zombie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Salvadore can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Salvadore bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Salvadore looks gassed!

Salvadore looking to sit in guard and control but The Thai Zombie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Salvadore wants to control the position but The Thai Zombie says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Salvadore moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Salvadore has an active guard here but The Thai Zombie has managed to pass into half guard.

Salvadore missing with punches from the bottom.

The Thai Zombie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Salvadore wants to get back to full guard but The Thai Zombie has passed into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Edwin Salvadore will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Salvadore pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Thai Zombie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Salvadore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Salvadore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Thai Zombie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Salvadore shoots in and bounces The Thai Zombie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Salvadore stands and steps away. The Thai Zombie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Salvadore drives through and clinches with The Thai Zombie against the cage.
The Thai Zombie has Salvadore pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Salvadore manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Salvadore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Salvadore connects with a leg kick. The Thai Zombie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Seanchai The Thai Zombie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Salvadore connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Salvadore lands with a kick to the ribs.

Salvadore scores a takedown into full mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Salvadore controlling the pace for now.
Salvadore tries to control but The Thai Zombie wriggling away.

The Thai Zombie is controlling an arm, preventing Salvadore from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The Thai Zombie is trying to reverse the position but instead Salvadore has taken his back - oops!
Salvadore lands strikes to the head.
Edwin Salvadore has got the better of the ground game so far.
Salvadore tries to keep control of the position but The Thai Zombie is staying busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Salvadore doesn't have the hooks in and The Thai Zombie manages to turn into his guard.

Salvadore not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Salvadore working a defensive guard but The Thai Zombie manages to pass into side control anyway.
Salvadore is pushing The Thai Zombie 's head away, looking to escape. The Thai Zombie manages to hold on to the position though.
Salvadore wants to control but The Thai Zombie postures up.
Salvadore looking for a sweep but The Thai Zombie has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Salvadore is in all sorts of trouble here.
Salvadore regains half guard.

Salvadore is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and The Thai Zombie has latched onto it... Big trouble! The Thai Zombie pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Salvadore is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from The Thai Zombie !
