Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Muhar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Jannety (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muhar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nervecell - Demean. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marty Jannety was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jannety decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jannety wants to take a breather but Muhar is having none of it.

Jannety is trying to control the action in half guard but Muhar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Muhar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jannety 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jannety 's back!
Muhar is looking to control Jannety but Jannety is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Muhar doesn't have the hooks in and Jannety manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jannety is pushing down on Muhar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muhar is fighting to maintain full guard but Jannety has managed to sneak the leg through.

Muhar swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Horrible takedown by Jannety or perhaps it was just good defense by Muhar which made him look bad.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Muhar manages to break the clinch.
Jannety tries for a takedown but Muhar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Muhar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Muhar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jannety , pushing him back against the cage.

Muhar scores with a hook to the body. Jannety takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Jannety is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Muhar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Muhar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jannety throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muhar's waist but Muhar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jannety off to one side.
Muhar's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Muhar duly obliges.

Jannety wants the takedown. Muhar is fighting it off but Jannety persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Muhar's guard against the cage.

Jannety had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Muhar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jannety Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Muhar's back instead.
