Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Starnovick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes to the cage accompanied by Last of the Mohicans Theme. Starnovick has chosen Rammstein - Feuer Frei as his entrance music. Drako Starnovick will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starnovick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Simpson wants to pass the guard but Starnovick is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Starnovick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Simpson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starnovick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Starnovick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Simpson controls the pace.
Simpson tries to free his leg and advance position but Starnovick is retaining full guard.

Starnovick throws his legs up looking for a submission but Simpson uses it to pass to side control.
Simpson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Starnovick keeps working.

Simpson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Starnovick knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Simpson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Starnovick can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
