Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bateman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Huey Lewis and The News - Hip to be Square. Martin has chosen Smells like Teen Spirit as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws a shot to the body.
Bateman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Martin ducks under a wild hook from Bateman.
Martin throws a jab but it's blocked by Bateman.
Martin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bateman's sensitive parts.

Bateman loads up on a big right hand but Martin slips the punch.
Bateman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martin throws out the jab.

Martin feints and then cracks Bateman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bateman down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bateman tries to bum rush Martin with a series of wild strikes but Martin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martin motions for Bateman to come forward. Martin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick Bateman will probably get the nod.

Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bateman throws a lazy right hand but Martin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bateman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Martin. Martin obviously looking to wear him down.
Martin tries to score with a low kick but Bateman moves his leg out of the way.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bateman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
