The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes cracks Sky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Sky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Moraes wants to get back to his feet.
Sky is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Sky moves nicely into side control.
Moraes trying to remain calm as Sky controls from the top position.
Sky postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Sky has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sky looks to land a combination but Moraes avoids it well.
Sky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Moraes throws a series of punches but Sky avoids them all with ease.

Moraes misses with a takedown attempt - Sky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Moraes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Sky shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sky showed some decent athleticism there.

I looks like Sky might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Logan Sky just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Sky feints and as Moraes raises his hands in defense, Sky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moraes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sky on the ground.

Sky stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Moraes to get to his feet.

Sky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moraes's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moraes is trying desperately to improve position.
Sky looking to control and managing it successfully.
Logan Sky has got the better of the ground game so far.

Sky goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Moraes turns into him and now he's in Sky's guard.
Sky has a closed guard, preventing Moraes from standing up.

Moraes wants to get up but he can't break Sky's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sky is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Moraes has his hands clasped together but Sky extends an breaks Moraes's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sky.
