Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Hopsin - Ill Mind Of Hopsin 4. Reilly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trouble Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rashad Jones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Reilly!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reilly drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Jones letting Reilly take a breather here.
Reilly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Reilly misses with a knee to the head.

Reilly successfully pulls guard.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reilly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reilly wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Reilly is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment.
Reilly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bobby Reilly hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Reilly swinging wildly here.

Reilly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Reilly wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jones dodges an elbow strike from Reilly.
Jones tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Reilly's efforts to push away.
Reilly is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.
Reilly tries a body shot but Jones blocks it.
Reilly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reilly avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jones has hold of one of Reilly's legs. Reilly is fighting the takedown attempt but Jones gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Jones advances position into side control!
You can see the frustration on Reilly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Reilly is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Jones in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Jones trying to control the action but Reilly is working from the bottom.
Reilly is trying to improve his position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Reilly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Reilly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones wants to control but Reilly is keeping him busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones controls the position from side control.
Reilly dodges the ground and pound from Jones.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Jones will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Reilly, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Reilly against the cage but Reilly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bobby Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reilly throws a right hand that misses

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reilly is keeping the position for now.
Reilly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Reilly works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jones is chipping away with strikes.

Reilly wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.

The referee asks Jones politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jones prefers to stall for the moment though.
Reilly gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jones trying to control from half guard but Reilly is working away.
Jones is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reilly!
Jones breaks from Reilly's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Rashad Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reilly is looking to escape.
Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reilly wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones wants to control the pace but Reilly is squirming around nicely.
Jones scoring with strikes but Reilly is staying in there.

Jones looking to finish Reilly with some ground and pound. This is bad for Reilly!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Jones connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Reilly tries to hold on but Jones postures up.
Jones cracks Reilly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones looking to finish Reilly with some ground and pound. This is bad for Reilly!

Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Jones avoids the attempt from Reilly to control.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
