The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mars misses with a wild body shot.
Mars changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nestle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mars defends it nicely.
Nestle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mars lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nestle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nestle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nestle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mars.
Mars throws a body punch but Nestle moves out of range.
Mars looks to throw the jab but Nestle is out of range.
Mars throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mars moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mars defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nestle.

Lawrence Mars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mars counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mars wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nestle, who protects the arm well.
Mars lands a strong strike to the head of Nestle. That's dazed him! Mars looking to finish here. Nestle is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mars lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
