Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Lilja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilja tries to clinch but Muhammed moves out of range.
Muhammed bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lilja's head backwards.
Muhammed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Muhammed rushes Lilja and presses him up against the cage.
Lilja lands an elbow inside that Muhammed shrugs off.

It looks like Muhammed Muhammed has been cut.
Lilja crunches a lovely knee into Muhammed's ribcage.
Lilja is looking to control Muhammed's arms but Muhammed gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lilja has his back to the cage.

Muhammed breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Muhammed is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Lilja still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Lilja has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Muhammed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
