Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willians Trautman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rubio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trautman comes into the arena with Bolt Thrower - No guts, no glory blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willians Trautman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Rubio!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trautman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Rubio has his hands on Trautman's head, controlling the position.

Rubio wants to stand and escape but Trautman is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Adam Rubio was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Trautman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rubio's waist but Rubio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trautman off to one side.

Trautman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rubio keeps working.

Trautman wants to work for an arm triangle but Rubio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Trautman has Rubio pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rubio manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Trautman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rubio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Trautman closes the distance and clinches up with Rubio, looking for a takedown. Trautman pushes Rubio against the cage but Rubio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Trautman leaves Rubio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Trautman misses with a takedown attempt - Rubio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Trautman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rubio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Trautman is in Rubio's guard.

Rubio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trautman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trautman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rubio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trautman is just riding it out for now. Rubio eventually gives up the hold.

Adam Rubio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
