Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Prezario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Prezario might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Step Up. Anderson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Massive Attack - Teardrop. James Anderson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prezario looks for a takedown but Anderson sprawls well.
Prezario takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Prezario feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Prezario is one step ahead there.

Anderson is looking for a triangle but Prezario pushes his legs off easily.

Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Prezario is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Prezario is pushing down on Anderson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Anderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Prezario has managed to sneak the leg through.

Prezario in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Anderson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Prezario!
