Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Coles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AL James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: MF DOOM - DEAD BENT. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Coles misses its intended target.
Coles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but James circles away quickly and effectively.
Coles throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.

and James counters with a nice double leg into side control. Coles won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Coles is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked James off and has taken his back!
James breaks Coles's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Coles has his feet on James's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Coles throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coles gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Coles crunches a lovely knee into James's ribcage.

Coles lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of James backwards.

Coles digs a right hand into James's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on James's gas tank.

Coles creates a bit of space for himself and rocks James with a big uppercut! James tries to clinch up but Coles pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples James to the mat! James covers up and Coles unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
