Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komota looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Komota defends it nicely.

Marko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Komota's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Komota wants to sweep but no luck.
Marko is fighting to break Komota's control of his arms but Komota is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Komota lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marko circles away quickly and effectively.
Marko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Komota throws out the jab.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Marko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Komota's head.

Komota is working for a rear naked choke. Marko is not defending it well and Komota has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Marko refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Marko's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

A relieved looking Susumo Komota thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
