The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suerto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sumner swivels and escapes.
Suerto lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sumner throws a poor cross that misses
and Suerto counters with a nice body shot.
Suerto slips a jab from Sumner.
Sumner throws a looping overhand right but Suerto ducks down to avoid it.
Suerto cracks Sumner with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sumner throws a shot from downtown. Suerto moves away and avoids it.
Suerto scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Sumner is rocked!
Suerto looks to land a combination but Sumner avoids it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Suerto waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Sumner. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Sumner to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Oh Sumner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Suerto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sumner's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suerto lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Sumner! More strikes land and this one is all over! Suerto jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
