Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim McCulloch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Fedida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim McCulloch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Fedida!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fedida!
Fedida throws a low kick but McCulloch avoids it.
Fedida takes a swing at McCulloch's ribcage but misses.
Fedida throws a chopping leg kick but McCulloch manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fedida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fedida digs a good body shot into McCulloch's ribs.
Fedida misses the shot to the body.

McCulloch gets a takedown into half guard.
Fedida blocking the ground and pound attempt from McCulloch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McCulloch stands up from half guard.
Fedida jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fedida throws the left hand but McCulloch avoids the punch easily.
A swing and a miss from Fedida.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

McCulloch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
McCulloch is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Fedida is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McCulloch is controlling him.
McCulloch controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We're going to have a standup here because Jim McCulloch wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fedida shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McCulloch pinned against the cage. McCulloch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McCulloch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fedida on his heels. He'll look to pass Fedida's guard now, I'm sure.
Fedida looks gassed!

McCulloch slips nicely into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McCulloch wants to pass to mount but Fedida is defending the position.
McCulloch is working hard here to advance position.

McCulloch moves into full mount! Fedida won't be happy about that!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McCulloch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Fedida sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McCulloch is pressing down on Fedida's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fedida is holding on for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Fedida throws a right and a left that both miss.
McCulloch shoots in but Fedida avoids the takedown attempt easily.

McCulloch clinches up with Fedida and pushes him back against the cage.
Fedida managing to block the knees to the body from McCulloch.
Fedida wants to break free but McCulloch has control.

McCulloch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McCulloch tries to score with a low kick but Fedida moves his leg out of the way.

McCulloch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McCulloch is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

McCulloch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fedida's guard.
Fedida tries to roll over but McCulloch keeps him under control.
McCulloch is pressing down on Fedida's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fedida is holding on for now.
Fedida wants to control but McCulloch is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A nice combination there by Fedida.
Fedida stuns McCulloch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Fedida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCulloch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fedida throws a head kick that misses.

McCulloch forces Fedida back against the cage and clinches.
Fedida is trying to push McCulloch away but McCulloch has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
McCulloch keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fedida's efforts to push away.
McCulloch avoiding damage.
McCulloch goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fedida prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim McCulloch. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fedida's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fedida misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fedida scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
McCulloch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fedida as he avoids it easily.

Fedida is looking to slow McCulloch down with leg kicks.
Fedida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McCulloch dodges the punch combination from Fedida.
Fedida lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jab, jab by Fedida - just one landing.
McCulloch stuffs the takedown.
Fedida throws a jab but it's blocked by McCulloch.
Jim McCulloch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fedida throws a body punch but McCulloch moves out of range.
McCulloch shoots in but Fedida avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McCulloch slips a jab from Fedida.
Fedida misses with an uppercut.

McCulloch drives through with a takedown into guard.
McCulloch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCulloch stays in close to Fedida's body and controls the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
McCulloch trying to control but Fedida is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jim McCulloch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fedida is defended easily by McCulloch.

McCulloch darts in and clinches Fedida up against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McCulloch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fedida smiles and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Daniel Fedida will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! McCulloch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Nice uppercut lands for Fedida. That snapped McCulloch's head back.
Fedida connects with a single shot there.
Fedida scores with a nice right hand.
McCulloch tries to clinch up.
McCulloch has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fedida finds it's way round the side to connect with McCulloch's head.
McCulloch shoots in but no luck this time.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
You get the feeling that Fedida really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Fedida can't escape the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McCulloch looking for a guillotine from mount but Fedida is having none of it.

McCulloch content just to control the position here.
Fedida has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

McCulloch is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Fedida has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
McCulloch is not going to allow Fedida to sit and survive in this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McCulloch controls the action.
McCulloch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fedida for as long as he can get away with.
