The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewicki misses with a takedown attempt - Mike sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lewicki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lewicki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mike ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewicki moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lewicki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mike clinches.
Lewicki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mike has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lewicki is proving hard to escape from.
Lewicki controls Mike momentarily but Mike frees himself.
Mike wants to control from the top but Lewicki keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mike lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Mike is looking to clinch.
Mike looks to land a combination. Lewicki sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mike lunges at Lewicki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lewicki's hand.
Mike throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Lewicki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mike to the mat! Mike manages to get full guard.
Lewicki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mike looking for a guillotine here but Lewicki defends easily.

Mike has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewicki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mike is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mike is looking for a triangle but Lewicki pushes his legs off easily.

Mike is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mike wants to stand but Lewicki is controlling the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewicki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mike keeping moving, preventing Lewicki from controlling successfully.

Mike working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lewicki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lewicki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lewicki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mike throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mike connects with a nice looking jab.
Lewicki misses with a kick to the body.
Mike fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lewicki manages to avoid it.
Mike tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lewicki was well out of range. Poor timing from Mike.
Mike throws a shot to the body.
Lewicki fails to land the takedown.
Lewicki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mike sprawls well. Mike wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lewicki gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lewicki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Mike gets full guard.

Mike is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewicki defends well.

Mike has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lewicki doesn't defend quickly enough and Mike has managed to lock this one up! Can Lewicki escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mike on a fantastic submission victory.
