The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martelli fails with a takedown attempt.

Centenario takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Martelli moves into the clinch.

Martelli gets control of Centenario's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martelli will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Martelli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Centenario defends it easily.
Martelli looking to hit a scissor sweep but Centenario is one step ahead there.
Martelli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Centenario's guard.

Martelli is pushing down on Centenario's leg trying to pass to half guard. Centenario is fighting to maintain full guard but Martelli has managed to sneak the leg through.
Martelli is nestled in close to Centenario, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Martelli stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Centenario to get to his feet.
Centenario tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martelli paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Martelli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Centenario.

A frustrated look appears on Centenario's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Martelli has Centenario pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Centenario manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
