Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tree Stump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Maurer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stump has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stump has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stump is breathing heavily.
Maurer feints and then cracks Stump's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stump down.
Stump could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stump misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maurer lands a leg kick that knocks Stump off balance momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maurer drops Stump with a big knee straight up the middle! Stump is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

A slapping body kick lands there for Maurer.
Oh Stump is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters are battling for control here. Stump trying to break out of Maurer's Thai clinch. Maurer unloads with a massive knee right up the middle that drops Stump to the canvas! He's out cold! Wow, what a knee by Maurer!

A relieved looking Mario Maurer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
