Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mazza Ozcop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yster Best!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozcop misses the jab.
Ozcop blocks a low kick nicely.
Best blocks a head kick by Ozcop.
Best throws a poor cross that misses
and Ozcop counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Yster Best has been cut.
Best shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ozcop but Ozcop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Best fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ozcop lands a big head kick that sends Best tumbling to the mat! Ozcop takes a step backwards and waves Best back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Best is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ozcop throws a powerful right kick. Best tried to block low but the kick was high! Best was taken right off of his feet! Ozcop jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
