Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Serafin Cuevas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Cuevas.
Stotch on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Stotch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stotch looks for a takedown but Cuevas sprawls well.
Cuevas connects with a body shot that sends Stotch's belly button to the back.
Cuevas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cuevas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stotch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cuevas digs a good body shot into Stotch's ribs.
Stotch's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cuevas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stotch scrambles back to his feet.
Cuevas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stotch.
Serafin Cuevas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leopold Stotch.

Stotch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cuevas on his heels. He'll look to pass Cuevas's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stotch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cuevas wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stotch manages to pass to side control.

Stotch uses his free foot to push down on Cuevas's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cuevas.
Stotch cracks Cuevas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
