Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chen Zhen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maverick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Little Secrets - Passion Pit. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhen is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Zhen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zhen shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zhen did well to prevent Jones getting side control.
Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
It looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jones is looking to advance position but Zhen won't allow it.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zhen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zhen shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
