Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Urac Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Roberts, pushing him back against the cage.
Roberts tries to score a body lock takedown but Hunt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hunt lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Rocky Roberts has been cut.
Roberts looking for a takedown.
Hunt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Roberts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Urac Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Roberts.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Roberts jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hunt manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Roberts tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberts has an Americana. Hunt didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Roberts is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Roberts hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rocky Roberts!
A very excited looking Rocky Roberts rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
