These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfair doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mayfair slips a straight right by Oxenfrei.
A jab from Oxenfrei misses.
A shot to the liver by Oxenfrei. Beautiful body shot.
Oxenfrei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No joy there for Oxenfrei, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mayfair moves out of range as Oxenfrei strikes.
Oxenfrei scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oxenfrei uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mayfair.
Oxenfrei throws a hook but Mayfair blocks it.
Mayfair moves out of range of the strikes.
Oliver Oxenfrei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayfair tries a head kick but it misses.

Oxenfrei throws a lazy right hand but Mayfair sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mayfair throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oxenfrei feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mayfair sprawling to the canvas! Mayfair rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Oxenfrei finish him?!
Oxenfrei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oxenfrei throws a body punch but Mayfair moves out of range.
Mayfair on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mayfair is breathing heavily.

The crowd cheers as Oxenfrei lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mayfair doesn't seem phased though.
Oxenfrei slips under a jab from Mayfair.
Oxenfrei cracks Mayfair on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mayfair falls backwards against the ropes. Oxenfrei follows up with more strikes that drop Mayfair to his knees. Oxenfrei keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mayfair! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Oxenfrei!
