Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Corso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corso comes to the cage accompanied by Tears in Rain. Will Corso could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jimmy Jacobs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Corso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs looks to throw the jab but Corso is out of range.
Corso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jacobs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Corso lands with a kick to the ribs.
A good leg kick by Jacobs.
Corso pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Corso moves out of range of the strikes.
A big left from Jacobs misses.
Jacobs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Corso defending well as Jacobs loads up on a big left hand.
Corso throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Jacobs scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jacobs wants to pass the guard but Corso is defending well.
Jacobs winds up and cracks Corso with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Corso is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jacobs's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jacobs's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Corso wants to control but Jacobs is keeping busy.

Jacobs thuds his right hand into Corso's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Corso looks for the body kick but Jacobs saw that one coming.
Corso throws a low kick but Jacobs avoids it.

Jacobs throws a jab when Corso was well out of range.

Jacobs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Corso moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Corso pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jacobs fails with a takedown attempt.
Jacobs moves into range and connects with a jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Corso checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jacobs takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jacobs throws out a loose jab but Corso uses good head movement to avoid it.

Corso clinches.
Jacobs with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Horrible takedown by Jacobs or perhaps it was just good defense by Corso which made him look bad.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Corso enables Jacobs to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Corso manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jacobs, as that shot connected.

The ground and pound from Jacobs seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Well Jacobs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jimmy Jacobs spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
