Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermeulen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quik's waist but Quik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vermeulen off to one side.
Vermeulen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A right-left combo lands from Vermeulen.
Vermeulen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vermeulen is looking to clinch but Quik is avoiding it.
Vermeulen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Quik scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Quik scores with a jab to the body.
Jos Vermeulen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Quik there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Quik misses with a body kick.
Quik connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vermeulen. Vermeulen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vermeulen doesn't manage to clinch there - Quik circles away.
Vermeulen moves in looking to clinch but Quik pushes him off.
Vermeulen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quik as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jos Vermeulen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vermeulen tries to clinch up.
Vermeulen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Quik scores with the left hand. Vermeulen knows he should have avoided that one.
A head kick misses from Vermeulen.
Vermeulen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vermeulen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Quik throws a leg kick which misses Vermeulen's front leg but catches the back leg as Vermeulen tries to avoid it.
Quik will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Quik throws and low kick but Vermeulen moves out of range easily.
Quik scores with a body shot.
Quik lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vermeulen backs up against the cage.
Quik scores with a sloppy right hand. Vermeulen should have avoided that one.
Quik scores with a three punch combo!
Quik with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Quik connects with the punch.
Vermeulen is rocked!
Vermeulen tries to clinch but Quik moves out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Quik.
Oh Vermeulen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Quik lands a head shot.
Vermeulen tries to clinch up but Quik circles away and keeps his distance.
Vermeulen walks into a straight right hand from Quik.
Quik cracks Vermeulen with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Vermeulen falls to his knees and Quik doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
