Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffery Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeffery Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Small!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Small looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller wants to stand up but Small is controlling him.
Small working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Miller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Some wild striking there from Miller.
Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Small or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller which made him look bad.
Small showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Small avoids a punch combination nicely.
Small buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Small decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Small shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Small keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Small closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Joe Small showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
