Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Flavio Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross has chosen The American Dream Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flavio Sandoval!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, David Cross!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cross moves away.
Cross uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sandoval.
Sandoval attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sandoval takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sandoval has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cross.
Sandoval throws a hook to the side of Cross's head but Cross sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sandoval uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cross.
Cross ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sandoval moves away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Flavio Sandoval will probably get the nod.

Well Cross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
