And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Canadian Kid!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azul throws a leg kick but Canadian Kid moved away.
Canadian Kid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Azul manages to avoid it.
Azul lands a nice looking body kick.

Cubensis Azul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azul throws a shot to the body.
No joy there for Azul, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Azul scores with a jab. Canadian Kid acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Azul creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Canadian Kid sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Canadian Kid is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Azul's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Azul's back!

Azul breaks Canadian Kid's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Azul lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Azul lands a nice short elbow.
Azul thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Canadian Kid's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cubensis Azul dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Canadian Kid misses with a straight left.
Canadian Kid tries to move into range but Azul moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Azul throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Azul here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Canadian Kid looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Azul connects with a single shot there.
Azul dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Canadian Kid. That did some damage!
Azul shoots for a takedown but Canadian Kid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Azul cracks Canadian Kid with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

After the fight, Cubensis Azul was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
