Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice misses with a double jab.
Ice misses with a body shot.
Veenstra walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Veenstra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ice's guard.
Ice wants to stand up but Veenstra is controlling him.
Veenstra working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Veenstra forces his way into half guard.
Ice wants to improve his position but Veenstra is controlling well.
Ice trying to hold on to Veenstra's head to control him but Veenstra postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Veenstra not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Veenstra missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Ice wants to control but Veenstra is keeping busy.
Veenstra uses his free foot to push down on Ice's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ice.

Veenstra is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ice is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ice flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Veenstra anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ice and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Veenstra slips an arm under Ice chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Veenstra has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Veenstra is squeezing on Ice like an anaconda would it's prey. Ice fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
