Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lance Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Bonney!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bonney misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bonney fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bonney throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range.
Bonney cracks Jackson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bonney fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bonney tried to score with a low kick but Jackson checks it.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Bonney circles away.
Jackson tries to clinch up but Bonney circles away and keeps his distance.

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Bonney shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bonney trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bonney gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bonney trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bonney is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bonney working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jackson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bonney avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bonney defends it well.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Bonney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Bonney is retaining full guard.

Jackson wants to work for an arm triangle but Bonney is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bonney manages to get to full guard.

Bonney throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Jackson is looking to advance position but Bonney has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Jackson is looking to improve his position but Bonney isn't that keen on the idea.
Bonney tries to control but Jackson wriggling away.
Jackson can't escape the position.
Bonney lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jackson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Bonney lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Bonney looking to secure an arm triangle but Jackson defends it well.
Bonney fails to take his opponent's back.

Bonney is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jackson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson regains half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson moves into full guard.
Jackson looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but William Bonney will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bonney lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackson hang on?
Jackson is trying to escape the mount but Bonney keeps good control and instead manages to take Jackson's back.
Bonney trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bonney's arms.

Bonney has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jackson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bonney doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonney keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.

Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
William Bonney has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bonney wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Bonney pushes a forearm under Jackson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
