PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin Orchestra. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher avoids the head kick by Lombard.

and Fisher counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Fisher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fisher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fisher can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lombard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fisher pinned against the cage. Fisher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Fisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
