The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjj tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcilazo was well out of range. Poor timing from Bjj.
Bjj takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice uppercut lands for Garcilazo. That snapped Bjj's head back.
Bjj moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Garcilazo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bjj's head backwards.
Garcilazo throws out a powerful jab.
Bjj throws a leg kick but Garcilazo moved away.
Bjj closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Garcilazo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bjj had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bjj lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garcilazo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garcilazo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Garcilazo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bjjs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Garcilazo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bjj has time to react.
Bjj's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Garcilazo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bjj scrambles back to his feet.
Oh Bjj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
