Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silant Beater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Not Afraid. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silant Beater!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries for a takedown but Beater circles away easily

and Beater counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Liddell's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Beater just misses with a elbow thrown towards Liddell's brow.
Beater is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Liddell pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Liddell enables Beater to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Liddell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Liddell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beater as he avoids it easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Beater has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Silant Beater decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
