Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koopa Troopa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troopa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Koopa Troopa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Koopa Troopa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troopa takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Troopa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith has closed the distance and engaged Troopa in a clinch.
Troopa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smith gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Smith gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Troopa regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Troopa controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Troopa is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Smith rolls with it to try and escape but Troopa cranks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
