Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bork Borkster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Garwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bork Borkster had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Archie Garwood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garwood throws a sloppy head kick and Borkster moves out of range easily.
Horrible takedown by Borkster or perhaps it was just good defense by Garwood which made him look bad.

Borkster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Borkster passes Garwood's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Borkster shoots in looking for a takedown. Garwood tries to sprawl out of it but Borkster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Garwood manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Garwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Borkster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Garwood connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Borkster tumbling to the canvas! Garwood pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Borkster was done - good stoppage!
