Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hell Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjel Dacir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arjel Dacir told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hell Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Arjel Dacir!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Dacir.
Rose lands a nice looking body shot.
Dacir throws a half hearted mid kick.

and Dacir counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dacir turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Rose gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dacir breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dacir lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rose has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rose and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dacir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rose gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rose wanted to stand there but Dacir had control of the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rose keeps control of Dacir as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rose will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dacir up against the cage.

Rose swings wildly with an uppercut but Dacir uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dacir's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
