Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jumbo Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alphonse Manzanilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Punch-Out!!. Manzanilla has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Alphonse Manzanilla is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manzanilla was well out of range. Poor timing from Jo.
Manzanilla looks gassed!
Some wild striking there from Manzanilla.
Manzanilla looks to land a combination. Jo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jo has closed the distance and engaged Manzanilla in a clinch.

Jo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jo works over Manzanilla's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jo lands with an uppercut that bounces Manzanilla off the cage and back into range.
Jo scores with a shot to the body.

Jo closes the distance and clinches.
Jo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Jo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jo drags the fight down to the ground.
Jo lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Jo is controlling Manzanilla's posture.
Jo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jo is on top in guard.
Jo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jo passes Manzanilla's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jo scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Manzanilla is rocked!

Jo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jo scores with a big shot! Manzanilla's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Manzanilla! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
