The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos misses with a head kick.
Dane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dane fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Dane drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dos Santos wants to stand up but Dane is controlling him.
Dane postures up in Dos Santos's guard and throws a big left but Dos Santos blocks it.
Dane tries to free his leg and advance position but Dos Santos is retaining full guard.
Dane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dane is looking to work some ground and pound but Dos Santos has wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
That kick from Dane tenderised Dos Santos's leg. Dos Santos is trying to keep his angry face on.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dane working the clinch nicely. Dos Santos is working for position but Dane cracks him with a big knee to the head! Dos Santos crumples up against the cage and Dane lands two more shots before the ref can save Dos Santos! This one is all over!
