Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Reno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Reno has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Reno!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reno looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Reno postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kelly wants to stand but Reno is controlling the position.
Reno with a nice head shot there.
Reno throws an elbow that misses. Kelly uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reno's guard. Nice move by Kelly!
Reno pulls Kelly in close to prevent any damage.

Reno is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kelly defends well.
Kelly prevents Reno from getting back to his feet.

Kelly won't allow Reno to sweep him here.

Reno has his feet on Kelly's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reno moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kelly swings away with a body shot that misses

and Reno counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Reno.

Reno postures up in Kelly's guard and throws a big left but Kelly blocks it.
Reno stands up over Kelly, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kelly wants to stand and escape but Reno is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reno lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Reno content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Reno scoring with some ground and pound.
Reno is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kelly uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kelly is breathing heavily.
A big left from Kelly misses.
Kelly closes the distance but Reno moves to the side

and Reno counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Reno slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kelly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Reno content to stall in guard here.
Reno lands a couple of elbows.
Reno distracts Kelly with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Reno lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Reno makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reno is controlling him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reno postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Reno cracks Kelly with a solid left hand.
Kelly wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Reno manages to pass to side control.
Reno looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Reno lands with a punch from half guard.
Reno working over Kelly with some ground and pound. Kelly looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Reno dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Reno shoots in and drives through. Kelly sprawls well.

Reno shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kelly napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Reno decides to stand back up. Reno steps back and let's Kelly get back to his feet.

and Reno counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reno works over Kelly with some ground and pound from guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Reno advances position into side control!
