Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Curd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen somebody call my momma as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dodges the punch combination from Curd.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Curd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Curd throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Curd defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Curd clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Curd using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Curd seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Curd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones misses with a head kick.

Jones jumps guard but Curd stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Curd drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Oooooh!!! Curd has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Curd steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Jonny Jones has been cut.
Jonny Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Curd doesn't seem phased though.
Jones digs a good hook to Curd's body.

Curd has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones can't break the clinch.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Curd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Curd tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curd is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Jones like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Jones from another fist facial!
