Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Boma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Houses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boma's entrance music is Shocking Lemon - Under Star. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Boma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Houses!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houses tries for a takedown but Boma sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Houses closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boma quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boma tries to get to full guard but Houses has control of the leg.

Boma wants to control but Houses is keeping busy.

Boma will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Houses is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Houses.

We're going to have a standup here because Jason Boma wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
