Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nefertum Imhotep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naser Al Shami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nefertum Imhotep could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Naser Al Shami's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Imhotep closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Al Shami ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Al Shami no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Al Shami wants to stand and escape but Imhotep is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Imhotep stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Imhotep fails with an attempt to clinch.

Al Shami avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Imhotep takes the fight into the clinch.

Imhotep manages to break the clinch.
Al Shami throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Imhotep clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Imhotep throws an elbow but misses.
Imhotep is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Al Shami pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Imhotep is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Al Shami stops a takedown attempt from Imhotep.

Al Shami prevents Imhotep from breaking the clinch.

Imhotep tries to clinch up.
Imhotep ducks right into an uppercut from Al Shami.

Al Shami fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Imhotep on the side of the head.

Al Shami throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Naser Al Shami is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Al Shami throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Imhotep tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Imhotep moves into the clinch.
Al Shami avoids a wild elbow strike from Imhotep.
Al Shami wants to get back to striking at distance but Imhotep won't allow it.
Al Shami tries to break the clinch but Imhotep is controlling the position.
Imhotep holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Al Shami is trying to push Imhotep away but Imhotep has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Al Shami looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Imhotep stalling against the cage.

Imhotep tries for a takedown. No joy.
Al Shami blocks an elbow strike.
Imhotep pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Imhotep misses with an elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Imhotep throws an elbow but misses.

Imhotep breaks from the clinch.
Al Shami misses with a body shot.

Al Shami steps into range and cracks Imhotep with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Imhotep flops backwards and Al Shami dives into his guard looking to finish!

Imhotep is rocked!
Imhotep looking for a sweep. Not yet Imhotep, not yet.
Oh Imhotep is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Al Shami decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Al Shami cracks Imhotep's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Imhotep slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Al Shami can do further damage! This one is done, son!
