PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Uzi's choice of entrance music: Slayer - Angel of Death . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson wants to land a leg kick but Uzi is out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uzi is defended easily by Danielson.
Uzi blocks a low kick nicely.
Danielson misses with a straight left.
Uzi shoots in for a takedown but Danielson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Uzi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uzi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Danielson some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Uzi drops back looking for a leg! Danielson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Danielson manages to kick Uzi off! Uzi jumps back into Danielson's guard.

Danielson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uzi on the ground.
Danielson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Uzi scores with a couple of nice shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Uzi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Uzi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Danielson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Danielson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Uzi.

Danielson motions for Uzi to come forward. Danielson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Uzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danielson tries to avoid it but Uzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danielson to the ground. Danielson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Danielson is in a horrible position here. Uzi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Danielson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Uzi postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Danielson out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Uzi goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
