Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Charyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Codi Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charyak comes to the cage accompanied by Ni**as in Paris. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gale's choice of entrance music: Gravity kills - Guilty. Codi Gale has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charyak ducks under a wild hook from Gale.
Charyak shoots in looking for a takedown. Gale tries to sprawl out of it but Charyak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gale manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Charyak manages to avoid it.
Gale throws a jab but it's blocked by Charyak.
Charyak tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gale is able to avoid easily.
Gale scores with a sloppy right hand. Charyak should have avoided that one.
Gale pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Codi Gale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Charyak wants to control the pace but Gale is squirming around nicely.
Gale is desperately trying to improve his position but Charyak has a good base and remains in mount.

Gale avoids a strike by Charyak and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Charyak's guard! Fantastic escape!
Gale must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gale, as that shot connected.

and Gale takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Charyak takes a swing at Gale's ribcage but misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gale checks a leg kick.
Gale feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Charyaks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Charyak moves forwards but Gale connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gale looks for the body kick but Charyak saw that one coming.
Charyak misses with an uppercut.
Charyak shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gale takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Charyak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Charyak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gale but Gale pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gale scores with a jab.
Nice straight punches there by Gale. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gale.
Gale throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gale bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
